Using the Content Search API's

The Content Search API is main tool PersonaFin provides to access content. A flexible tool, these API's allow users to search for and stream content from a range of sources via one simple to use api.

This can be used to quickly perform simple content searches, allowing you to

  • Quickly retrieve the most recent content enabled for your API key
  • Filter by date range and page through results
  • Perform free-text searches over content

Or filter content with advanced queries

  • Filter content by securities tagged in the content
  • Filter content by keywords tagged in the content
  • Filter content by a particular content source: publisher or content type

Content Search Prerequisites

Before calling the content API's ensure that

  • You have an API access_token. Contact PersonaFin to find out more.
  • Make sure your content sources are configured (see Check enabled content sources), and contact PersonaFin to find out how to access other content from our range of partners.
